This shot took months of planning and was something I hadn't seen done. It was a dream come true making this happen standing in the middle of California St. between traffic hoping to get the sun peaking behind the hill with the Bridge and Cable Car at the top. This image won the Grand Prize for the National Geographic Travel "Visit California" photo contest in 2016.
